Mike has served as the chairman of BLOCKHOUSE since its founding in 2022. His experience in the Law Enforcement and military equipment market goes back to 2006. Mike began his career in the defense and security market at age 22 where he realized that the caliber of service being offered to end users and the limited selection of brands on the Canadian market was inadequate. This realization led to the creation of Rampart International Corp; a business that would focus relentlessly on customer service and offering outstanding equipment to Canadian Law Enforcement, Special Forces, and military end users.

Under Mike’s leadership, Rampart became the leading provider of operational equipment in Canada. The company plays a pivotal role in ensuring that outstanding equipment reaches the hands of those who need it most, bolstering the capabilities of Canada’s armed agency end users and setting the standard for best-in-class customer service.

In 2020, Mike founded Rampart USA Corp, and quickly established the company as a player in the larger and more dynamic American market. While the framework and values of the business remain the same, Mike focused on bringing little known, innovative brands into the worlds largest market.

After the founding of Rampart USA Corp, Mike now is now primarily focused on a new vision; a company that focuses specifically on acquiring and accelerating equipment manufacturers to bring their products to the international first responder market. This company was launched in 2022 under the name BLOCKHOUSE and has since started its mission of identifying innovative companies and applying resources and leadership to expand their market share and generate healthy, long-term growth.
